I hope I am not overstepping myself, but why don't we do up a list of questions for the Devs? and see if they are willing/able to answer them.

They do it for external blogs nad interviews, so why not for us?

If we do this, we should probably structure it well tho, and make sure we set rules out that basically define what we can and can't ask for. Cause you know, don't want to piss the devs off.

We also need to make sure that there is an expectation that unless otherwise stated if they do answer us, then anything they say would still be open to change between now and release date due to development changes realities etc.

What say you all?

Basic structure based off Forums
Mood, Maturity
Setting, Continuity
Game Mechanics

Rules
Avoid asking for plot elements.
No asking for things that have already been explicitly defined.
No asking for the Dev's phone numbers, and or vital statistics ;)

(Also no idea which forum this would be appropriate for)

I do not like the idea. At this point, they can't or won't answer questions that are of interested, and these are questions with regards to design decisions or other features of Wasteland 2. When the time is ripe, these features will be introduced anyway.

I would like them to make more use of the Wasteland main page blog. And I believe it will be in a few months.

The Unity post on there was excellent, and while they don't all have to offer that much information shorter posts of that quality are welcome.

This should be done later on, when more details are released. The vision document - at least for me - doesn't really answer a lot of questions (nor make any new ones) since it's pretty much what the whole project was about from Day 1, as stated by InXile. Maybe if they release a few more fan art pictures, Unity NPC models, general info on certain locations/items etc then we could be talking. But now? The questions are just too broad.

Fair enough.

I just figured it could be a good way of building up a list of questions that we would like to have answered, so at some point the Devs can throw down some info. Hell even if its just a bit of "Still working on that area, can't really comment yet, watch this space" type answers.

Or Hell its a Forum, they can always ignore questions and come back and answer them later.

Its just kind of annoying that we are sitting here on the official forums discussing the game, and yet almost all of our information has come from external news sources. Why can't we get some questions answered here?
