As an artist I cant possibly think of a better scenario to make a creatively driven game.
Thank you to every single backer that helped make this dream of ours a reality.
Now to put this energy into OUR game...

I'd VA for Wasteland 2 for free. I already do a crapton of fan voice-acting projects (fandubs/abridged series). Why not provide for one of my favorite games?Snake Vargas wrote:Seriously... Voice acting??

If you search on Amazon for USB condenser mics under the musical instruments department and have the results tiered by user ratings and shuffle through the pages, you can find high-quality mics and accessories for starting out at very cheap prices, and I always like to encourage more people to try voice-acting. Competition is always a good thing.Sycraft wrote:The technical side is certainly there. $150 gets you a nice professional Audio Technica condenser microphone, so it is within range of anyone to have the kind of hardware you need to make a recording good enough for VO work.

I think $2 million is a goal we may achieve. But to do that we need more coverage. I really hope that some ink based medias pick up the story as well.
What I don't understand is that there is no Paypal possible. I think there would be at least 30% more backers if Paypal was not excluded. Maybe we can do something about that?

All those publishers who denied funding Wasteland 2 must be wanting to kick themselves so hard right now![]()
This is definetely the way to do it. If you want to play the games you deserve to play, then this is the way.
This is the ultimate evidence the genere is far from dead. Let's stop big publishers from deciding what we get to play and support the games that we really want to play.
