Avoid forcing online mode like diablo 3. x10 to the power of infinity.
Playing a single player mode online is plain stupid.
Felt sorry for those who bought and got poor connection.
This is one big screw up by blizzard, no matter the justification against piracy or other reason.

Brian even said in his twitter at some point that the only constant connection you need to play Wasteland 2 is electricity.

I'm fairly sure this was never considered. Especially since you can get DRM-free versions of the game.

In the case of D3 it makes totally sense to have a permanent internet connection. But of course there is no really a need for this for wasteland. And I am pretty sure this ame wont require a online connection^^

Always-online is not going to be included for this game. In fact, no internet connection will be required if you bought it retail, and only to download it if you bought it digitally.

This is kind of a non-issue as - as has been pointed out - this has already been confirmed. Always-online is the bane of personal computer gaming. It is not happening with Wasteland 2. Locked.
