I don't know about post-apoc feel in either of those bands but I'm definitely a big fan of Jack White and his creativity when it comes to sounds. I remember there was one movie/documentary where he made an instrument from an old board of wood and glass bottle. His passion for music is very commendable.

It Might Get Loud is an amazing documentary, I loved watching that. And yeah, Jack White is definitely a member of the new guard of passionate and creative musicians, as opposed to people just in a band. That guy can do almost no wrong musically. As for apocalyptic feel.. I guess it all depends on how you envision your apocalypse. I like that dark bluesy sadness, and in the case of that particular version of seven nation army I love the way it resolves from the desolate and hellish sadness into the angst of Seven Nation Army. I also like this one... it's a whole different spin, but I like not just the sound but the implication by the title.. The Crave... The end of the world brought about from lust, and the fiery cravings unfulfilled.

I imagine it would be quite diverse, they got lasers and power armor and it's not the same time line as Fallout, it's been said it's more entrenched in the 80s.

On slightly less relevant note, here's something really cool. http://youtu.be/bWx_GyTLGmQ

Great thing about the 80's though.. is that it doesn't preclude any of the music that came out before the 80's ;)

Feeling Good - Nina Simone

Love the metaphor of a new day and a new dawn for life in a Wasteland.

Music from the 80's though...hehe

Cult of Personality

Horse With No Name

I mean, you just have to have a whole other mindset for the music.. a sort of fun, cheesy, playful approach to the apocalypse

Burning for You
In My Darkest Hour

If you pull a little from the 70s.. you can get a little darker.

War Pigs

Very nice picks form that era! :D Picked some of my favorites.

Don't know why I didn't think about this before when listing post apoc/dystopian bands but I totally forgot about Bile. They have a very avant garde approach to music. Some of it makes my head hurt but then there are tracks where they are amazing. I like the avant garde approach to music, too many people confine themselves to standards that limit their creativity.

Ulver - "February MMX"

How bout some Adam and the Ants? http://youtu.be/wtxuPqjSJDc Probably the earliest form of glam rock I can think of. Outlandish dress and make up along with some catchy tunes.

Absolutely fantastic.
A Wasteland team is, by default, going to be much of the same team from the first two Fallout games, working on what is essentially a new installment of the Fallout series.

Awesome band, Rev Lower(lead singer) runs a piercing and tattoo shop. They do live suspensions and in general there's some awesome crazy stuff going on while they perform. Sometimes ambulances and firetrucks show up! I was trying to book them a show near me but I only managed to help them get a gig in Houston which is only about an hour away for me. It's better because Houston has millions of people living there versus where I live, there's only a couple hundred thousand. Going to go see them play June 12th. :D
