I never claimed that's all easy as pie, it's what I'd expect to see in terms of "differently".
Then again, I may have read too much into inXile's Kickstarter campaign and the various updates.

I guess, I'll have to wait and see.

drm = digital right management
so a serial, wich is used to know the legitimacy(<- good word ?) of the installation, is de facto a drm.

ps: constructive criticism is always welcome :)

My alarm clock has a serial number, too. So I guess it's got DRM, huh?

a serial number for something physical is linked to manufacturing process. for a software, it's reason to be is to limit access :). It's not, because it's the same name, that's the same things ;)

Sorry if this is an old topic, but I'm new to the forums and I didn't see this brought up.

Will Wasteland 2 be brought to the Humble Store? The Humble people now do more than just timed bundles. Many indie games like Trine 2 and Braid are using a Humble Store web widget that lets you easily buy the game DRM-free and Cross-platform on Windows, Mac, and Linux.

They are also working on a full fledged store that should be done by the time Wasteland 2 comes out next year.

Here is more info on the upcoming store and the already in use Web Widget:http://www.indiegamemag.com/jeff-rosen-the-humble-store-is-something-we-are-working-on/ and this is what one of the Widgets look like:http://braidgame.com/

This seems like a great and easy solution for people like me at the $15 level to get their game and have it supported easily cross-platform. So will this be added to the list of places you can get your game alongside Steam and the other digital distribution channels you plan on supporting?
