Hey Rick, you are very talented. Thanks for the great fan art! :)

Impressive stuff. I particularly like the postcards and the clown themed gang.

I not sure how to put down my thoughts properly here.( English isnt my native language). But ill try.

Rick seems to me a very talented artist and all of his works here have that little something what can be a part of the future Wasteland 2.

I and i would like all of you and Brother None to launch a vote here asking Brian Fargo to take this guy to a wasteland team project. I am not sure if i have a moral right to ask for this kind of things here, but as a backer of WL 2 as big fan of postnuclear games, i would like people that are really passionate for the game and also have an amazing talent like Rick do, to be part of the future game.

I think Brian as a big master of RPG and postnuclear themes should understand that people who are really passionate for WL 2 and have a talent to work on it, will only make this upcoming game even better.

So i resume my thoughts:

Lets make a vote for Rick to be a part of this WL 2 game.

Brother None, help us!

Brian hear us!

Got my vote.

There's others who put up art here that I REALLY hope the devs are looking at.

Arne's take on the original had this beautiful sorta retro high end 16 bit flavor to it that would actually look pretty cool as a graphics mode for the game itself.

A lot of the art that people have posted up here has been really cool and worth a look. Makes me wish I had even an ounce of artistic ability. I'd post some myself if I was any good at it.

Frustrating to see stuff in my head and be totally unable to bring it to life visually.

Brian's aware of his work. I pointed out Rick to him pretty much when Rick started posting his stuff. He likes it.

From there, it's up to inXile what to do with it. Maybe they'll outsource some work his way, I don't know. It's not really the kind of decision that's up to a vote or anything. If inXile feels Rick's style could contribute to Wasteland 2, he's an option. If they don't, he's not.

To be honest.... I think these are some really cool pics... BUT... I also feel them to a bit too cartoonish and "soft". I get a feeling of reading a comic book and that is not what i am looking for with Wasteland 2. So Im sorry to say, how great they are, all in all, these pics dont do it for me, not up to that 100%. I want a much darker and serious tone. I want to get the feeling like Im screwed from the beginning. Like there is no hope, only misery, poverty, prostitution and death! And suddenly... you have the Rangers, *insert epic Banjo Blues Lick here*.

Cant wait for this game!

I don't find it cartoonish one bit. The softness i though came from the fact that it is painted.
