I'm not really sure how to do this, but the wiki doesn't seem to mention Chris Avellone as a developer. Could this be added?

I seem to have an interesting problem, I already have a Vault account (on curse) and it is saying that I can't log into it for the Wasteland Wiki, is this because they are classed as 2 separate items, so I need to effectively "clone" my account, or am I missing something else?

Suggestion: Would be nice to see a "recent additions to the FAQ" as an official page or something. I know there's page history, but that doesn't differentiate between edited writing and breaking new material and news.

They are classed as a separate wikis, so you will need a new account set up for it.

The page exists here (http://wasteland.falloutwiki.com/Wasteland_2_FAQ) and anyone is free to contribute new and additional information to the page.

Yes... I mean, it would be nice to have a section called "Updates" or something -- showing when new significant information has been added to the page or such. Currently there's just the history page, which isn't exactly the ideal way of seeing "what's new" (I don't know what edits were significant, etc..etc..)

Now I understand where you are coming from, unfortunately a wiki is not really a great resource for keeping people informed of updates and changes to a single page.

While we can add an update section for new information - which is great for people wanting to know what has changed since there last visit - It isn't really helpful for first time readers of the FAQs page, nor is it helpful for people wanting to only read about a particular part of the subject matter. As the content no longer flows in the right manner. For example, if I wanted to read only about the story line, I would first have to read that section, then scroll down and read the updates on it. Then there is the issue of how long do we keep information in the update section before moving it to the relevant section.

These reasons are why we have a news feed on the main page to keep people up to date on relevant info, which is in the process of being updated with a new extension to better support these updated information on the wiki in general.

But to help you with keeping up to date on the FAQs page, and to save you a bit of trouble of looking at the history page when there has been no updates. I have added a template to the top that displays the last time the page was updated, this should instantly let you know if there has been any changes upon viewing the page.

The alternative is to create an account and add the page to your personal watchlist, this will not only tell you how many changes have been done since your last visit, but also the size of the changes as well.

He is, and it is, and Curse pays more than Wikia did.

I don't understand the level of douchebaggery... It's sounds rather appalling. Granted that I don't know the whole story it's still quite depressing to learn about.

That whole incident was a mess, and doesn't really need repeating. Suffice to say, decisions made were both inspired by business and by personal feelings. Personally, I'm not all that particular about who or what is the "official" wiki (although I suppose it's nice to know which one it is). I have one that I'm already used to using, so I'm apt to stick with it. Both of the still-active ones could certainly stand to have more content, though.

Those 2 linked wiki´s about the coding of Wasteland could be quite the hint for the ones trying to mod WL1´s graphics!
