Rick,

Your latest Breath of Wastelands piece is really fantastic! Has InXile hired you yet?

Also, your treatment of the Wasteland 2 logo is by far my favorite! I am really unhappy with the Wasteland 2 logo that InXile is using on their Kickstarter page and I hope it changes before the game ships. Your logo would make a great choice (I realize your logo is simply the old logo with a "2" added... but its simple and clean and very effective!).

Not. I want to speak about it with Brian Fargo after Kickstarter campaign.

In all case - gamers have a new wallpapers and little piece of wastelands. :D

Many programmers (With whom I worked) every day says one of main rules: - if something is working - don't touch it. Hang your hands behind your back and be happy.

It's a bad rule. But sometimes it's rule is working. I know what every man who "googled" in the net words "wasteland" show old logo. The new logo must remind people the oldest logo and it's be good (i suppose).

I'm not change old font, and don't touch concept of logo. But include in logo different pictures. It's a easy way. You love roasted on fire bread? I love. And bread easy to cook.

Main thing of last passage - new stuff is not necessarily difficult. :D

Today Brian Fargo in FB says:
"I see the post nuclear movie "The Divide" is out on Vudu. Any recommendations?"

Many people to advice a lot of good movies on the post-apocaliptic themes. I remember "The Road". Very scared movie for me. But also i remember Viggo Mortensen in that film. I think... how would it look if Viggo starred in post-nuclear ranger movie.

Wasteland 2 it's a big game and big world. Do not afraid experiments. Sands, Jungles and... snow. Ranger scout in the snow. )
I heard Brian Fargo want make a game realistic and serious. It's not a serious device. Snowmobile, with a retro-elements, and nuclear-powered... where seriousness?
Sorry - tonight i'm mister-unseriousness.

I want make many games. But now i have no funding on that. You must strongly surprised when to know what i do at this moment. Not a games. Not art. I do customers tasks for f**kin social & casual games. I hate this. I really hate this. The mountains of useless crap each day approach on the game markets. Every day gamer eat this shit. No wonder that dulled sense of beauty.

If all time eat the quick-cooking noodles washed down with cheap beer... come a point when you forgot taste gourmet food.

And... one little piece of art. It's for a "Dune-3". I know about trademarks. And i named the game "Rusty War". Trademark is property of each owners... but nobody can take the soul under this trademark. If somebody do it game about post-apocaliptic world... don't matter what name she have. Important what soul that game have. What the message game and developers send to each gamer. It's a "Rusty War".
