Amazing how almost 60.000 RPG fans around the World could gather 3.040.000 $

Seems less than the 3.340.000 $ record of Double Fine, but it took 87.000 Adventure fans to do so...

Just changed my wallpaper from Fallout to Wasteland 2 first concept art.

When the X-hour hit i've recieved a message from amazon, that money didn't go throught.
So I've called my bank and they told me that money cannot be transfered cause i have VISA electron, and i need plain VISA to get that international payment done and that is 5 days!
So i've said to the Lady that this is very importat, that it cannot wait and Mr. Fargo really needs that money.
After a 30min of some crazy-voodoo accounting stuff i've got this.

So in that way i can say - Dear inXile even our Banks do want that you make this game.

Congrats inXile! Who else laughed when pavlish dropped the f-Bomb? Can't wait 18 months for this game but I'm willing to wait for a perfect game. This game is in good hands I'm sure. If Brian or Chris need me to Babysit their wives... so they can spend more time on the game.....You can count on me! <-- Sorry i'm still drunk!

I thought there was no way it would make it to $3 million. I have never been happier to be proven wrong.

Thumbles Upples! Now let's get this party started.

I backed with Paypal, so my money has certainly made its way over the big ocean already.

Today, the torch will embark on its journey towards the promised land. May it not only continue to shine, but light the skies ablaze, so that we will never have to live in the darkness again.

Very cool, Rimak. It's true. It's dedication like yours that will burn through two decades of resistance and see Wasteland 2 become real.

Thanks =)
Appriciate it.
For me it's gonna be some tough 18 months, bet hell, a month ago that game didn't even had an end date.
So 18 months is definately nothing, comparing to option of Old-School RPG's to never live again.

We'll make it through this together.

Hi, my name's Brigand231 and I am having trouble being patient

(no disrespect to 12 step programs, I am saluting their courage to be able to admit a weakness. This is "just a game" and it's driving me nuts. It's only been just over 24 hours... I can't imagine what it's like to struggle with something on a daily basis for years/lifetimes.)

My confirmation e-mail was a little odd. I switched my pledge from the 75 to 55 USD tier as soon as the digital only package became available, not to be miserly or anything but I really don't need hardcopies of anything taking up precious personal space and all I really wanted was the early beta, Amazon processed the correct amount of cash but kept me at the $75 tier.

Amount: $55.00
For: Pledging $75.00 to Wasteland 2 on Kickstarter.

Do you guys have the mechanics in place to catch the error or should I take it to the Amazon Resolution center circle of hell?

I don't think that's anything to worry about. You need to sign in to Amazon to authorize a pledge increase, but not a decrease, so the transaction description was for your original pledge. Kickstarter requested the correct amount from Amazon, so you should be fine in Kickstarter's database (which is what will be reported to inXile for your reward level). :)

Hopefully, since the donation process allowed me to enter an exact amount while still checking the reward tier checkbox I figured it was a mechanism to opt in to lower reward tiers even if you qualify for a higher one. With that being the case I was worried that rewards and payments would be handled separately without being cross-checked.
