I'll be throwing environments in the wasteland theme up in this thread.

I gotta say, those are remarkable.

I especially like that second piece from the second post.

Looks just like I used to picture the entrance to Sleeper 1.

Good job! 8-)

Lovin' it! I've recently got into digital painting myself, so it's always nice to see such nice inspiration on the boards! I would have no objections to someone like you working on a project like this, have you attempted contacting inXile at all?

Also, I gotta say as long as I'm talking inspiration, even though your finished pieces are absolutely gorgeous, I love that your website has that section as you scroll down with the thumbnails and ideations. That kinda thing is the hallmark of a good concept artist and I'm glad you included them on your site to help us who would like to be this talented one day get a glimpse into your mind ;)

To give me some context on your workload since I'm nowhere near professional level yet, how long would you say a finished piece might take you? Like one of those underground techno-facilities of yours, for instance?

Son of Max > Cheers for that, yeah i would like to do afew more similar to that second concept to establish moods (prop generation)
Cipe> Thanks glad you dig them so far.
Emmy Lou> Thanks, yeah I would be very honoured to work on anything wasteland related if i was asked. I'm working on afew shots in-between paid contracts. I decided to include a process sketch portion of my website as I have found that is a very large part of my job so I thought I'd include it. If I was aiming for more illustration based work I probably would not have it on there.
The underground hi-tech facility concepts would take around a day or less, then possibly another half day to polish and identify props.
Noble> Cheers :)

That reminds me of Base Cochise and is what I'd picture it being similar to after the Rangers are through with it.

Hahaha, oh maaan, craaaaaap. That's amazing. I've been drawing my whole life and everyone tells me I'm talented, but I definitely don't have the speed yet. At least digitally.

Hell, I've only just recently learned to set up my keybinds in PS (was using menus and buttons before, oh god) and how not to use the terrible default brushes that adobe starts you with, so I'm definitely still in the shallow end of the kiddie pool here. But knowing something like that is possible in roughly a day with enough practice gives me something to shoot for! I appreciate the response and inspiration, cheers!

(PS love the new landscape you posted and would love to see you continue to make great WL themed art. Having great artists around me inspires me a lot :D)

Wow, this is fantastic artwork!

Brian must be proud to have such talented fans. :D

Overall, I like the mood and feel, but the first set feels a bit farmville-y. Rough it up a bit!
