@BrianFargo wrote:@dolgorukii Yes I believe we will put it on later for others to watch. I can't believe this is all coming to an end yet the start of WL2.

And the way that they have set up they'r twitch stream, it's automaticly available when the stream ends. But it might need some editing after they are done (so you don't have to jump to the place where it start, and sutch).

That link puts the interface in French. If you want English, you can substitute in 'en' for 'fr'. I imagine you can probably do this for other languages too - de, ru, etc.

Brian please let us donate at a later date!

That is all I wish since I won't be able to pledge until the 29th which sucks.

They have a paypal link on the main web site now. I don't see why they would stop taking donations that way.

Man, and I thought the repetitive threads on this forum were too much. That chat window is ridiculous.

The wrap party is literally just a party with Brian talking with people and having a good time.

Good, I like these people making a game that I paid for that isn't made yet. Congrats guys! Tomorrow you gotta start making a great game!

Watched it for a while, realized how majority of the team is now middle aged, doing middle aged things and speaking in middle aged terms.

Also, note the numerous bhaalspawns jumping around the joint.

Saw the toddlers running around and the older folks standing around, chit-chatting and thought, "So this is what passes for a 'party'? Be still my racing heart! I'm not sure I'll survive the excitement."

You stick around after the 12AM EDT finish and the video came back and someone left audio on and you heard some trash talk about publishers? :D

As for the pledges, the trendline definitely shows a finish at at least $3.1m to me.

I work for a small firm and Fargo's party is pretty much par with ours: Immediate family, a couple friends, and co-workers. Though, ours are usually outside around a big fire, as oppose to a gold-plated living room. And we tend not to have guest speakers.

I didnt hear any of the trash talk but I did get to hear Brian Fargo say "Make sure the audios off on that live stream" right befor the sound got cut.

Yep, the conversation prior to that was a fun listen (no, nothing obscene or vitriolic, just fun).

Good stuff. :^D

Well, I think the wrap gets summed up like this:

- Low key. Brian is an artist, not a showman. Didn't surprise me but it might have disappointed others, but it actually made me feel better about the future of the game. I'll take professionalism and art over snazzy any day.
- They have a Pomeranian. That's what I call a "football." That was disappointing.
- They all know how to drink, including one of my idols, Mister Bushnell.
- Hearing "Mary Had a Little Lamb" on the recorder is as creepy now as it was back when I was 13. I guess some things never change.
- Chris A. is a vat of personality. He adds the meat to the bones that is Mister Fargo. I now get why Wasteland 2 will be so much better with them both on board.
- Alan Pavlish doesn't have an accent. For some odd reason, that shocked me. Consider it a personality fault on my part.

Wow, I had the wrong expectations coming into this Wrap Party stream. I thought it was going to be for the people who donated, but the whole "web cam thing" seemed to be an afterthought as it was left on the living room for the majority of the time. I left work a little early, me and my carpool buddy (also a pledger) fired up the stream on a laptop hooked up to the TV and the entire time his family was asking "what is this? who are these people? what are you watching?" Hahaha.

Just seems weird that they were asking what we'd like to see for the wrap party, but all I saw were a couple Q&A sessions (admittedly cool). I was expecting more of a PBS style "last hours of the kickstarter" pledge drive. Introductions to all the fine folks at inXile, some free-form talking about what they are looking forward to and what ideas they already have (not everything has to be a direct question and answer). Maybe get one of the artists to do a live sketch, maybe throw out some last minute perk to drive up pledges, maybe get a bunch of people around the camera at once just talking or playing a party game so we'd get a little more personal insight. Is Alan Pavlish good at Pictionary? Who is the joker that throws out silly guesses at Trivial Pursuit. How many videos did they create in the last month? How many did they show during the stream?

Anyways, yeah I was expecting something totally different. Oh well, on to $3 mil and get busy making Wasteland 2.
