I like it. Particularly, I like the scale of it. The Scorpitron in Wasteland was missing scale with nothing in the image to compare it to. You know this one is a beast

The Scorpitron looks amazing, and dispels some of my fears about W2 looking like a power rangers episode.

Even better, the environment looks incredible. I loved the urban nature of Fallout 3, but not how busy it was. If we get anything like the environment depicted, exploring a desolate urban environment could be fantastic.

BN, any chance of getting the pic without the logo? It's the kind of picture I collect for use in pnp rpg sessions, but the logo spoils it a little bit. I understand if that goes against the need for publicity which these pictures provide.

OK with this art, now I'm feelin it! :-)

Wasteland is back.

Scorpitron was definitely up there as far as iconic wasteland moments. This feels like it captures it and updates it also.

I'd be happy if this were the poster we get, heh...

Now I'm starting to consider getting the digital art book...

*Shakes fist* Damm you!

That is one scary enemy...

BTW would it be possible to get a set of concept art such as this and first one as background picture resolutions. So I would have large collection of rotating cool looking things...

Finally, more green vegetation in a postapocalyptic game. Nature always prevails and it wont be a desolute wasteland everywhere. This picture stoked my imagination even more than the last one. Keep it coming.

BTW. The scorpitron locks awesome. Big and bad. Andree is really good in making robots. Like from the other pictures i have seen from him. I really like the small details in his pictures.

Love the whole picture. That's one badass scorpitron. Anyone else notice the odd symbol on it's middle leg?

The first piece of REAL concept art, first one was just for showing something. Ooo, rangers! It didn't convey any specific idea. But this one actually makes you imagine and explore. But i really want to see some new creatures concept art. Not redesign or modernization of the old ones.

Wasteland 2 Kickstarter reaches $2.5 million milestone

Postby Captain Skank » April 13th, 2012, 3:09 pm

As of this writing, the Kickstarter fund has reached $2,431,798, and $68,940 has been donated through PayPal. This means that we're getting a bigger world with more content than originally planned. Let's hope that this game's final budget at least matches Double Fine Adventure's. While I backed that game, too, I think that this game needs the cash a bit more.

I like seeing the trees and other plants. I'm not overly wowed by the Scorpitron itself (I guess I'm not really a fan of Andree's style, but that's okay), but the greenery makes me very, very happy.
in my opinion

Thank goodness. I was hoping for some more variety of scenery in this game than the title would betray.
