How long did it take before a pledge typically shows up in your account?

This was my first with Kickstarter as well... In my case it was rather immediate, and when I look at the Wasteland2 KS page, it displays a "Manage your Pledge" button/link instead of a "Back this Project" button/link.

** I really don't know... but it may involve any delay that Amazon has in their processing of the donation.

For those that have pledged, how long did it take for Kickstarter to process your pledge?

I pledged several hours ago, but it still says at the top that it's processing my pledge. This was my first pledge at Kickstarter on a brand new account, and I gave a relatively high amount, so could there be some hiccup in their system?

I think you do. I adjusted mine to 265.

Our Wasteland 2 Kickstarter project has exceeded the 1/3 mark in less than 10 hours. YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING!

And 400k within the first 12 hours. I wouldn't be surprised if you guys reached the 2/3 mark within the first 24 hours.

Also two more people just pledged 10k. Wow.

Well, still no go with my pledge. Still stuck at "We're processing your $1,000 pledge." I do have a support ticket in to Kickstarter's website, but after a couple of hours it doesn't have anybody assigned to it yet.

When I made this pledge, there were 81 available rewards at the $1,000 tier. Now over 5 hours later, there are 66 remaining. If any of the head honchos at InXile are reading this, let the record show that I did everything I was supposed to, and made a $1,000 pledge at 12:33 PDT. Now it's 5:57 PDT, and it still hasn't been processed by Kickstarter. I have the email from Amazon that begins as follows:

Is there any chance that you are running No-Script (for Firefox), or another script restricting plugin? This might interfere with a commercial website and cause things to not work.

** I've used websites whose shopping carts broke despite giving their site full permissions.

Hi, just joined the forums for the opportunity to thank you all for this. Like so many others here, Wasteland is one of my favorite games from my childhood. I never thought I'd see the day that something like this would be happening, and I can't tell you how exciting it is to see so many people rallying for something I've appreciated for so long. I've donated $250 towards the project and I'm grateful to be able to do so. It's the least I can do to support something that sparked my imagination as a kid, and that now has the potential to influence how other worthy projects are funded in the future. Thank you for your efforts and good luck with the Kickstarter!

Based on what you have described, nothing is wrong. In addition to the Wasteland 2 KickStarter project, I also pledged to the Double Fine KickStarter project and this is how things went down in terms of email notifications:

Feb 9: Email from Amazon - You Have Authorized a Payment to Kickstarter, Double Fine Productions, Inc.
Feb 9: Email from KickStarter - Thanks for becoming a backer of Double Fine Adventure by Double Fine and 2 Player Productions.
March 13: Email from KickStarter - Thanks to you, Double Fine Adventure by Double Fine and 2 Player Productions has been successfully funded!
March 13: Email from Amazon - Your Payment to Double Fine Productions, Inc. has succeeded

Only today, March 13th, is when the money got charged to my credit card already configured at Amazon.com.

When you log in to the KickStarter website, you should see "Me" in the upper right corner along with a tail-less arrow pointing down. Click that, then select "My Backer History". You might need to re-enter your password.

The "My Backer History" page should show a row with the following information:
Project Name: Wasteland 2
Project Ends: Tuesday Apr 17, 8:05am EDT
Pledge: $XXXXXX.XX (3/13/2012)
Pledge Status: Pledged
Selected Reward: ABBREVIATED PLEDGED TIER DESCRIPTION GOES HERE

How "Wasteland 2" appears in "My Backer History" is similar to what I saw for my pledge for the Double Fine project at KickStarter until today, when the Project Status finally changed to "FUNDED!" and Pledge Status changed to "Collected".

Nope, there is nothing on my profile. It says "0 backed games", and there is just nothing there. No game info, no nothing. Just an "Edit Settings" button for my account info.

When I'm at the Wasteland 2 project website, there's a blue banner near the top that simply says, "(Myname), your $1,000 pledge is being processed." It continues to say that every time I hit reload. In the right sidebar with all the donation tier info, there's a big blue "Manage your pledge" button. When I click on that, I get a pop-up window that says, "Your pledge is still processing. Please try again momentarily." I tried loading the page from my work laptop (IE8), and it's the same thing.

Something is screwed up. I'm running IE9, and I do have McAfee scanning my websites, but no script restrictions as far as I can tell. I successfully submitted my pledge, I successfully submitted my payment info to Amazon, and then was kicked back to Kickstarter's website, where it's been stuck in this state ever since.

If I was only giving $50 or $100, I would simply say screw it and submit another pledge. But this is a crapload of money, and I'm not quite prepared to offer a crapload * 2.

Thank you everybody for your replies and help. I clicked on the "Contact" link at the bottom of Kickstarter's website, and they do seem to have a decent ticketing system in place, for which I received an email with a link to my support ticket. My main concern at this point is getting locked out of the reward tier I want while they're all getting snatched up, so I want to at least document my problems with some forum timestamps.

Have you contacted your credit card company? Sometimes they put holds on charges they think look suspicious and the intemediary companies tend to list the charge as processing. Theoretically they eventually contact you, but sometimes it takes a while.

As to my pledge, well I wasn't the first, but I am one of the few who can say that their pledge doubled the total at the time, ha. We are a long way away from that now, thankfully! I can't beleive Wasteland 2 may actually happen! I guess I should start saving up vacation time to actually play it...
