Hi there. I finally got myself (kicking and screaming) into concept art creation process. So sorry for this weird cartoonish style xD, I am new to this...but i find it quit nice in the end. Next time I ll use perspective for the whole concept... I swear. Ok as you see it is WIP and i am gonna finish in next 24 hours...i hope :)...so I can jump into modeling. What do you think so far,...any suggestions for any changes or additions?

Looks good to me so far! Obviously there will be more to say when you're further along. I like the cartoony look in a concept, as long as you can figure out the details. It almost makes it easier to invision the larger pieces. Keep it up!

It almost reminds me of Wall-E, heh.

One question, though: how is the drill arm attached? It looks like it's just sort of floating there.

hmmm you are right...I ll figure it out when modeling comes into place.

Soooo...I updated the concept and the base colors and texture is in place....I am still thinking about adding some computer stuff, interface...diagnostic monitor or something like that....dunno. Does any of you know anything about this unit and its role in Wasteland 1?

looking pretty good.
the claw (on the left), though, is kind of small in terms of balance (both visual and physical)?
anyways, very good overall robotness, i think :)

It's a sentry-bot. They mostly show up in the final base in the game. I don't believe there's any set combats with them; they're mostly there for random combats. They were melee-only, but could still brutalize your party if you weren't careful. So while far from the biggest threat in Cochise, they still weren't push-overs.

I think it would be greatly improved if the colored devices were actually lighted instead of painted. Because as it is, it looks quite factitious and "toyish" then...
But good job otherwise. :)
