So... who 'owns' Wasteland

Electronic Arts? Interplay? I can't remember. There was a crazy history behind this, right?

If I understand things correctly, Fargo owns the rights to the concepts and the name and basically everything except the first game itself, which EA still owns. So Fargo can use the Scorpitron, the Guardians (obviously), Angela Deth, and everything else in Wasteland. But can't distribute the game.

If EA owns the 1st game they may want to talk to folks running the browser version of W1. One can find if you google it..
Or maybe I'll not mention that again and the EA lawyers will leave it alone.. just walk away..
Good thing I have my origional 5.25" disks. now I just need to dig out an old PC to find a drive to run them on..
