Combat Shooting (skill) ?

Let's help those out who may not be familiar with the Wasteland world, or may be only familiar with Fallout. What was Wasteland?!

Combat Shooting (skill) ?

Postby twilobyte » April 10th, 2012, 10:45 am

Combat Shooting skill can only be picked up while rolling a new character at Ranger Center, and is apparently only in the PC version of the game.

Even after countless playthroughs, trying various in-game weapons, and researching the Internet, I still don't know what the "Combat Shooting" skill is actually for.

It stays at level 1, regardless of what I do in game. Was this an oversight? Maybe one of the original devs can comment on this 8-)

I mentioned in the Useless Skills thread that I've had NPC party members be unable to Unjam their weapons. But if I transferred the jammed weapons to PCs that did have Combat Shooting, they could always unjam the weapons, no problem. I also suspect that Combat Shooting added a +1 to the To Hit roll.

Supposedly Combat Shooting improves chance to hit or damage on foes after the first when using an automatic weapon and triggering a burst or a full auto attack.
